Giveaway: Lockdown by Alexander Gordon Smith

Thanks to Zeitghost Media and Macmillian, I have one finished copy of LOCKDOWN by Alexander Gordon Smith to giveaway! The premise and the cover are BRILLIANT, and if you're looking for a gritty, unique read, definitely check this one out. :)

(As a side note, I'm trying Rafflecopter for the first time. I think I'm still leaning towards Google Docs, but we'll see. It feels... weird.)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary:

Furnace Penitentiary: the world’s most secure prison for young offenders, buried a mile beneath the earth’s surface. Convicted of a murder he didn’t commit, sentenced to life without parole, “new fish” Alex Sawyer knows he has two choices: find a way out, or resign himself to a death behind bars, in the darkness at the bottom of the world. Except in Furnace, death is the least of his worries. Soon Alex discovers that the prison is a place of pure evil, where inhuman creatures in gas masks stalk the corridors at night, where giants in black suits drag screaming inmates into the shadows, where deformed beasts can be heard howling from the blood-drenched tunnels below. And behind everything is the mysterious, all-powerful warden, a man as cruel and dangerous as the devil himself, whose unthinkable acts have consequences that stretch far beyond the walls of the prison.

Together with a bunch of inmates—some innocent kids who have been framed, others cold-blooded killers—Alex plans an escape. But as he starts to uncover the truth about Furnace’s deeper, darker purpose, Alex’s actions grow ever more dangerous, and he must risk everything to expose this nightmare that’s hidden from the eyes of the world.

Thanks, I've been wanting to read this for a while!
Also, I'm not sure about rafflecopter....I really prefer Google docs.
I would love to read the book, it sounds good. I don't really like rafflecopter. It just has too many glitches to it.
Awesome. Thank you! I have heard good things about this book. I don't mind entering using Rafflecopter. It's nice to see something other than Google docs. And it's nice to see how many entries there are besides mine as well.
Thank you for the contest! I'm definitely intrigued by this book. :)

Not real crazy about raffle copter! Google docs is easier. This book sounds intriquing. I'd love to be entered to win.

Thanks for the giveaway. I like gritty, this one looks good.
That is one hell of a cover, and it sounds great!
I like Rafflecopter as I don't always come direct to a giveaway from GFC. I often come from another blog and then I'm not real sure if I entered or not. Using RC it is evident as soon as I look if I've entered or not. I've just started using it on my blog and so far it has worked great.
Thank you for this awesome contest!
Ooh, this book looks really cool and creepy. Thank you for sharing!
Oooo, this sounds like a page-turner!
This book sounds uber-creepy and just up my alley!
I totally want to read this one. It sounds incredibly interesting and somewhat scary and that cover is way cool. Thanks a bunch for the contest, Jenn. How exciting! =D
I have not read that many books of this nature so I am very interested in reading this book. Thank you for the giveaway!
This idea that the prison is experimenting on people is so twisted and unique from other YA books out there. It sounds like it will be fantastic!

I would love to read Lockdown b/c it seems like an exciting, action-filled book!
I want to read Lockdown so badly, because I've heard so much about it! All the reviews I read of Lockdown rave about how good it is, and I can't wait to get a chance to read it :) Oh, and I've seen a lot more bloggers use Rafflecoter lately and I'm still not sure if I like Rafflecopter or Google Docs better though. Thanks for the giveaway!
