Commenting System Preference? & Notes

Edit// Javascript totally screws my layout over. Poll is now on sidebar, and I'll take it off in a few days.

A.A.S. Sorry, I fail. I really do. I don't know where my head is these days, but I thought IMM was today and The Saturday Network tomorrow. So, I'll be switching the two around, and TSN will be tomorrow. The sad thing is, I've been so busy with school, I haven't had time to buy books. My mailbox is despairingly empty.

A.A.A.S. High school bloggers will be added on soon! Sorry I missed your comment, but I didn't know I had to approve some of them from IntenseDebate's admin page, grrr. Also sorry if I missed your comment on a different post too. :(

A.A.A.A.S. Editting my previous comment, I do know what I was thinking about: setting in stone my college visitations over spring break. Plans: Columbia, NYU, UPenn, Carnegie Mellon, University of Michigan. More details coming soon to high school bloggers (with resumed contact -- sorry I fail again), so that maybe we'll see each other?! That would be so effin' awesome beyond words.

(Sorry to annoy with all the antescripts. Perhaps I should include another for this comment...)

Now, finally, onto the real question at hand: as a commentator, which commenting system do you prefer? As a blogger that's tried IntenseDebate for a while, I still don't have any real feelings for it or against it. As a commentator... I'm kind of torn between IntenseDebate and blogger, as long as their is no word verification on the latter. Thus, since I sincerely hope this blog is enjoyable for YOU as well as me, I'd love to hear what you think! Though perhaps this poll will be helpful to other uncertain bloggers as well.

Thanks in advance for your input, me lovelies! ♥

... did you think I'd leave you hanging on the music front?

Even without word verification I find Blogger's default commenting system a pain. I hate the popup box, I dislike going to a new page where I have to click an extra link to get the full text of the post to show up, and when the comment box is embedded below the post, I often have to click 3-4 times to get the system to recognize I've logged in and post the darn comment! Extremely frustrating.

I use intensedebate on my own blog and love it, and I totally want to encourage more bloggers to use it because I like the promise of the social aspect - voting for comments that add to the conversation to highlight people that contribute to the conversation throughout the blogosphere. But really, I find anything is better than Blogger's default! :-)
Personally, I prefer the blogger commenting format. Its just easier since you dont have to do anything other than leave ones thoughts. ^_^

I've just added Intense Debate to my blog, so I don't have an opinion on it yet. But, I'm all for the Blogger system as long as it doesn't have word verification.
I'm fine with any commenting system =)
I have been mulling over switching to Intense Debate or Disqus so am very interested in this post. I use blogger, with the pop up and the word verification. The one time I took off the word verification I got spammed. :-( I love the concept of individual replies that Intense Debate and Disqus provide, but I hear some people don't like having to log in...
I switched to Intensedebate during the last Bloggiesta and have liked it for the most part, but I really dislike not having all my commenters pics displayed.
I have to go with ID. Yes it has it's flaws like the comments being deleted. LOL okay a big flaw. But overall it is worth it. I love how easy it is to reply to comments because of it which is a must for me. For me it works, stick with it in my opinion :)
I LOVE Florence + the Machine!!!! :D

I tried Intense Debate awhile back, but I had a lot of trouble with it. I love the idea of it...when it works correctly! If you aren't having trouble with it, then I say keep it. For me, I'm pretty content using Blogger...as long as there's no word verification. That drives me crazy! It's also really nice when people make their e-mail addresses public on their Blogger profile. That way, when you see their comment in your inbox, you can just hit 'reply' and reply to them via e-mail!
OH MY GOSH THIS SONG ROCKS! Florence and the Machine is freakign awesome!!!

Anyway, Im really satisfied with Intense Debate. I like being able to respond easily. I'm alright with Blogger's comment system too but I prefer the popup version. It's much easier. But I'm glad I'm with Intense Debate right now. It's pretty cool!
